From the Desk of the NENA Treasurer |
Greetings NENA Members, Partners and Community, As the year draws to a close, reflection becomes a meaningful way to understand how far we’ve come and how we’ve changed along the way both professionally and personally. Across our NENA members and partners, we saw bold ideas take shape, new partnerships flourish, and long planned initiatives reach new milestones. NENA continues to push forward amidst challenges and remembering the core reason we exist, to empower Employment Networks with a network and resources to drive success throughout the Ticket to Work program. It is our collective voice, ideas, and determination that allow this program to flourish and the people we support secure and maintain meaningful employment. Most importantly, 2025 reminded us of the strength that comes from showing up for one another and moving forward with shared purpose. As we look forward into 2026, I am excited to see the possibilities that lie ahead. A new year offers a fresh canvas- an opportunity to build on what we’ve learned, to strengthen connections, and to pursue goals with renewed clarity and confidence. Even in times of uncertainty, there is power in resilience we’ve shown and strived to maintain our shared goals. With each step forward, we carry the potential for positive change, meaningful growth, and moments of joy we haven’t yet imagined. Here’s to a new year filled with optimism and intention! Cheers to 2026, Angelina Bush |
