Donna has worked for the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) for 20 years. She began her career as a counselor in the Lexington OVR office, serving primarily consumers with mental illnesses. In January 2006, she took the position of Social Security Coordinator. In this position, Donna coordinates all aspects of the Social Security Cost Reimbursement program, as well as Ticket to Work. She serves as the agency’s liaison with Social Security and as a resource for OVR staff and consumers. Prior to working for OVR, Donna worked for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, obtaining eight years of experience in non-profit fundraising and operations. Donna is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Rehabilitation Counseling program and obtained certification as a Community Partner Work Incentive Coordinator in July 2012.
