Claudia Barrios brings two decades of dedicated expertise in workforce development, focusing on empowering vulnerable populations. Specializing in Social Security Disability programs and spearheading the implementation and growth of Ticket to Work initiatives, Claudia has played a pivotal role in expanding employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Fluent in Spanish, English, and proficient in French, she excels in community engagement, partnership establishment, and program outreach. Holding certifications as a Community Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC) and Work Incentive Specialist Advocate (WISA), Claudia provides tailored benefits counseling for those receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits. As a Senior Ticket Case Manager, she manages a diverse caseload, delivers comprehensive career and work incentives counseling, and fosters collaborations with community partners to coordinate and enhance employment services. Claudia's unwavering dedication, leadership, and advocacy continue to drive positive change within her field.
