The Conference will be held at the Loews New Orleans Hotel from September 7 through September 9, 2016. This conference is currently the ONLY event where you can learn, share, and network face-to-face with others from all areas of the country who are involved in the Ticket to Work Program!
The conference sessions will cover a variety of topics – including many new ones! There will also be a number of sessions with marketing themes such as growing your business, community outreach, using social media, strategies for improving your website, and others related to getting paid, ethics and PII, using the “new” Portal, accommodations in the workplace, disability awareness and much more! For a second year, the Loews New Orleans Hotel has been selected as this year’s conference venue. This luxury, award-winning hotel is perfectly located adjacent to the Arts District and within walking distance of New Orleans’ most popular sights and sounds – three blocks to the historic French Quarter, two blocks to the Riverfront with access to the trolley line, Riverfront Mall with shopping and a food court, and across the street from the Harrahs’ properties and Fulton Street area filled with entertainment and eateries. Many famous restaurants, jazz clubs, and premier shopping outlets are also located in the immediate area. There are so many opportunities for continued networking after the scheduled training sessions end for the day!
All of Loews’ oversized standard guestrooms have magnificent views of either the Mississippi River or the city skyline. Guest rooms have 10-foot ceilings and lots of amenities including in-room laptop safes, ergonomic desk chairs, cordless phones, Keurig coffee makers (with complimentary coffee), and 24-hour room service. We were able to negotiate a deeply-discounted rate of $139 per night plus tax which includes complimentary in-room Internet access. The discounted rate will also be available for 3 days pre/post conference, based on availability.

Refund Policy: Request to cancel NENA Conference Registration must be in writing and sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org not later than August 5th, 2016 in order to receive a refund. NENA will deduct 15% of the registration fee to cover processing expenses and will issue you or your organization a refund check by the end of September.
