NENA Marketing & Outreach Special Call: Marketing Business Program (April 30, 2026)

Description: This open discussion session invites those already participating or interested in hearing the experience of those who are participating in the Marketing Business Program to come together and compare their experiences with outreach and engagement. Whether you’re still making calls, testing new approaches, or refining your strategy, this is a space to share what’s working—and what isn’t.

We’ll explore questions such as:

Who is still conducting outreach, and what success rates are you seeing?
What new strategies or tools are you trying?
Have you experimented with RCS or other enhanced messaging?
How clean and usable were your data files?
When is the best time to reach people?
What approaches are helping you navigate challenges and barriers?

Participants can sign up using the registration link, and the form will include a question box so you can submit topics or questions in advance.

This session is designed to be conversational, practical, and grounded in real experiences—join the discussion and help shape better outreach practices across the NENA community.

Topic: Open Call: Text-em-All will be joining us! Text messaging is one of the most reliable ways to reach people quickly. RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the next evolution of that, and it’s available now on most phones without any app download.

This session covers how texting works today, what RCS changes, and what it actually takes to get started, whether you’re already using texts for outreach and job leads or just getting started. We’ll also run a live demo so you can see exactly what a recipient experiences on their phone.

2026 EN Fundamentals Course: Work Incentives (WIC) 101 (July 23, 2026)

Event Information

This session is aimed at ENs who are focused on providing support services to new or returning workers. Our discussion will focus on the existing SSA work incentives and how each will be used when earnings are received. You will be familiar enough with each work incentive applying to Title II and to SSI and will be prepared to have a basic discussion with your worker about each. You will also learn when that worker needs to be referred to a benefits planner for intensive planning services involving all public benefits found within your worker’s benefits portfolio.

**There is a reduced rate for the Fundamentals courses when also registering for the conference. If you have already registered for Employment Network (EN) 101 or Work Incentives (WIC) 101 with your conference registration, please disregard this message!**

2026 NENA National Annual Training Conference Sponsorship (August 31, 2026)

Current or active Employment Networks, including those operating as an Administrative Employment Network, will not be accepted as an exhibitor. If your Employment Network is part of a larger agency that may be a good fit as an exhibitor, you may still submit an application but note that information regarding operating as an Employment Network, or recruitment, is prohibited and that staff whose primary role within your agency is Ticket to Work service cannot staff the exhibitor booth. Employment Networks may act as an A La Carte sponsor.

All applications for sponsors and exhibitors are reviewed by the NENA Conference Planning Committee. If accepted, you will receive an invoice to pay exhibitor or sponsorship fees. If denied, you will receive notification from admin@nenaticket.org.

National Employment Network Association 16th Annual National Training Conference (August 31, 2026)

Early Bird registration will be open from May 01, 2026 through June 5, 2026 and Regular Registration will be from June 6, 2026 through July 31, 2026.

We will also have two Employment Network Fundamentals courses running virtually in July/August. There is a reduced rate for the Fundamentals courses when also registering for the conference.
