Eric has served the State of Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) since 2011 as a Disability Determination Services claims examiner, DORS field counselor, Social Security Programs/Ticket to Work Staff Specialist, DORS Quality Assurance and Policy Review Committee member, and currently is the Program Manager for Social Security Programs and Program Income. This combination of experience has provided him with a lens into the history and decision making that goes into vocational rehabilitation case management and interagency coordination of appropriate services, especially for Social Security Beneficiaries. Currently, he is responsible for providing guidance and support to DORS consumers who receive Social Security benefits. He is also responsible for providing technical assistance, policy and procedural development to DORS staff, statewide, for Social Security programs, benefits and wage verification, and Ticket to Work inquiries.
The National Employment Network Association (NENA) serves Employment Networks (ENs), American Job Centers (AJCs), State Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies (SVRAs) and other Stakeholders involved in the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program.
